Taoist breathwork exercises use mindful, intentional and conscious breathing. They majorly emphasize the movement of the lower abdomen and the diaphragm as well as the lungs and the perineum. These ancient exercises are practical tools for connecting your physical body with your energy body.

During 2 days of Breathwork workshops you will discover the most important and powerful Taoist breathing techniques to balance emotions, connect mind and body, increase energy levels and improve overall health. Grandmaster Mantak Chia will explain the theory behind each technique and concentrate on the practice..

Tao Yin is also known as Chinese yoga. It’s exercises are exclusively conducted in seated or lying positions. They encourage improved alignment and movement patterns, which in turn recondition the spine and rejuvenate the body by facilitating the flow of Qi through the body’s meridians. The tendons and psoas muscles gain greater elasticity, and the spine becomes more flexible. .

The practice of Elixir Qigong uses the energies of the hair, sense organs and saliva to strengthen the physical body. Golden elixir, also known as nectar, is the fountain of life. This is the mixture of saliva, other hormonal fluids and external essences that, when mixed, becomes an elixir. This elixir is a major transformer for higher spiritual work and has the power to heal oneself. Elixir Qigong practice involves breathwork, swallowing saliva and techniques of internal power using the fingers and palms (known as Five Finger Gongfu). It also includes a hair breathing practice – the hairs act as antennae – radiating out to nature and the Universe and drawing in energy.
